Pass. Very little you're beating here.

thanks for quick response.  I did pass and it felt right at the time, but in fact I would have gone on to take the hi and the lo, which left me a bit confused about whether I might have had the odds to call.  I find it hard enough working out odds in hold em, never mind hi lo!

thanks again.

I think once someone else has called the all-in, you'd have to assume that at least one of them has a better lo than you. And you could easily up against a set, two pair or a big wrap for the high here.

I think you should pass pre-flop... you've got a relatively good stack, but the other players are at the stage where they are going to be lumping it in with any old rubbish. Your hand is way too marginal to be taking on people looking for a double-up. I wouldn't play this hand on the button let alone UTG.

There is a good odds calculator at twodimes.net (http://twodimes.net).

Pass preflop, it's not even marginal, it's mud.

Agreed, personally I wouldn't play it at all.

If you're still trying to get to grips with the game it isn't a hand that you want to be getting involved with, you are looking far better starting hands IMO. I've been playing it for only about 18 months and while it in no way is my strong point, I still wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I'm bloody useless at this game but i reckon it's a goldmine if you can crack it.

yeah but that's mainly because you're still a useless player :)..

Actually Omaha isn't a tricky as people think it is, (especially cash games) you do have to be very aware of the board though..something some Hold-em players can wrap their heads around as they are used to thinking Aces are always good...

thanks all.  Yes, I know I should have really folded this pre-flop, which is why I specifically asked for comments on the post flop play here :D

Ok, as you have played the hand and not hit the flop in any real way, you have to check it imo. Then instafold to the all in bet!

Hope that helps a little more lol  :D
