It was a bad position for him to bluff as you are a rock ;D Maybe he was looking for a runner runner low for half ther pot? Wish I got as lucky as him bluffing into a set!

Title: Re: vic - omaha h/l Post by: Milkybarkid on March 29, 2005, 01:55:44 PM Yeh i am slowly recovering from it! ::)
It was so obvious i had AA anyway so why he was trying to bluff i will never know...... Title: Re: vic - omaha h/l Post by: tikay on March 29, 2005, 02:00:57 PM Ben,
You need to look at this from a different angle. When a guy makes a bad call against you, it's a GOOD thing. Let's say he's a 4 to 1 dog. 3 times out of 4 (or is it 4 out if 5?), you are getting incredible value from Mr Muppet. And you scoop 3 times in 4. Quite right too. But now & then, Mr Muppet hits his miracle card & does you - but you cant have it both ways! Give me geezers who make bad calls all day, cos I need the value! That's my view, anyway. If you only got callers who had the goods, you'd be far worse off in the long run. Methusala has spoken. Title: Re: vic - omaha h/l Post by: Milkybarkid on March 29, 2005, 02:03:58 PM yeh i agree Tikay... i know i wanted him to call me but it still sucks when they get lucky.
I may have recovered enough to play later now....... See you at the Vic Title: Re: vic - omaha h/l Post by: ariston on March 29, 2005, 03:02:49 PM Do you know how many times people tell me "but you want him to call"? True I do want them to call I want them to not always bloody hit though.
