Watched it and its really interesting and a great follow-on from series 2 cliffhanger!

yup, agreed! Although as is with the rest of the series each episode seems to pose more questions rather than answer them!

Downloaded and watched quality stuff.

As an aside these things take me hours to download on 2 meg broadband.

Should they only take an hour?

I average about 175KB/s on 2 meg, took about 40 mins for me to DL it.
I use bitcomet but you need to set your router up to use it properly.

What is the easiest software to use to download stuff like this. I'd like to see Lost too.

Not sure which is the best but having tried most i have settled on Bitcomet, very slick.

Router new - so have instructions etc - but few clues there.  Think I manage to hit at least 10kb at times so I guess I need help.

Byron - I started using BitComet this week and seems simple enough - not unlike Limewire and the like I found the old Blonde threads and www.download.com very helpfull.

"Lost" is my favorite American TV show.  "Extras" is my favorite show in general (thank you, torrent sites).  A lot of people have criticized the second season of "Lost" and the third season premiere, but I don't think the show has gotten any worse overall.  I do dislike most of the Jack flashbacks, especially the ones in the first episode of the new season, but the rest of the episode was pretty good to me.  Very cool to see the plane break up like that.  And that island looks HUGE.  They're gonna find all kinds of more things there in the coming years.

I'll wait till there are about 5 episode out before I start on this.  One just isn't enough for my Lost habit

Well its true, so by the time lost in America starts up again Sky1 might be about level with them.

By my Maths(not the best) we will be ahead.  Episode six was this week in US, Sky show episodes 1 and 2 sunday then weekly, I think that means we get episode 7 first.

If true good old Sky, if we get a 16 week gap - not happy here, maybe a little gap over xmas but I need episode 7.

I've seen them all so far, gotta say (BTW i'm an addict) the 3rd series so far is dull, dull, dull, nothing explained, nothing really happening.
As for the sky thing, it could well be in the contract, after all they paid stupid money for a show that has a declining rating and ,as the US networks axe shows at the first sign of a ratings drop, a show that is unlikely to see series 5.

I never liked Lost...I hear it in the background because my GF loves it..she was gutted when it moved to sky but we now have series 3 on DVD and I watched the first 2 episodes...it doesn't actually suck as much as it did in the beginning...it's actually watchable telly now.

They've only aired 6 episodes of Series 3 so far - how can you have the whole series?

I think they must have released the first few episodes of the third series and folks think they have the lot.

did they not just replace the actor that played Walt last series?  He's left the island anyway, so if he is supposed to have aged maybe he's a vision from the future.  I'm going to stop trying to explain things now.  I thought I was kind of following it until I realised Jack's dad is apparently still alive ???

Same actor I believe, just these kids grow up so quick these days.

As for the Jacks Dad thing, not buying the he alive bit just think tey wre using it to show Jack as desperate and confused.

I am more interested in who is in the coffin.

Yes, my spider senses have been tingling and they informed me that Richard is a major player and will surely play a huge role in Season 4.

My guess is that Richard is dead and therefore an angel of some sort (whether for heaven or hell I'm unsure.) This might also explain how he seems to be the only 'other' who goes from Island to Mainland.

As for Jacob, I think he might be the black smoke in the forest, but again, I'm not sure at all.

Miles out, it is deffo not heaven, hell or purgatory, the producers have said so.
Richard was one of at least 3 "others" we have seen on the mainland (look at when they recruited Juliet).
Also Juliet said none of them knew what the black smoke was, just that it didn't like the barrier.

I too thought it was odd what Jack said about his dad being alive and then thought maybe Jack (bearded) happened before and maybe series 1 - 3 was Jack and Kates second visit to the island??

Also...did I miss it? Who was in the coffin in the funeral parlour? Not friend or family but he thought Kate might have went??

I suspect it's Michael in the coffin. The producers did want him back for the final two episodes but he wouldn't come back. Plus whoever died had an 18 year old son, (says in the column). So that's either Walt or Karl atm...?

No it's a recap of the previous seasons by the shows producers, everything up to the seasons finale.

As well as having LOST, Sky have now secured the contract for the next series of Prison Break .

In terms of the name on the cutting, I'm still going for Michael, simply because he hung himself (perhaps he lost Walt) in a loft (he's an artist, yeah?) in New York (I hear Michael originates from New York). This would assume that he changed his name somehow, perhaps to remain anonymous and away from journalists.
