I'm right up for it today. Here's some tunes to get us going .These should be played in the dressing room b4 the game. If they played them to me I'd run through a wall!! International football, i find very very boring, and dont support any team, weather it be Scotland, Ireland, England or Wales. So please do not call me Irish dave, or say i support Ireland as i dont. I support one team only and its a Club side, not an international side. I agree tho, with Decider that there are a small minority of people that live in Scotland that support other nations, yes its strange, if i were to support any international side it would be scottland as thats where i was born and lived all my life, but alas i choose not to support an international side. Glasgow was jumping after the game, I reckon the pipers in Buchanan Street must have made a fortune. Went for a meal and drank far too much red wine, which led us to the casino. Managed to win the cost of our meal in the Casino, so two good results in one day.
Still celebrating the result this morning, but with a much sorer head. :) World Champions :-) Until the next game anyway. Title: Re: Scotland v France Post by: Canuck on October 08, 2006, 12:16:47 PM Came to Scotland 2 and a half years ago and as a result I dont really have a club team, Rangers and Celtic, TBH, I dont really care. I just like football. But I most definitely support Scotland in any sport (unless they play Canada of course).
Yesterday I went to a bar with some friends mostly Scottish, and I watched the game. I didnt realise how much I wanted them to win until I was jumping up and down shouting when Caldwell found the back of the net. What a game. It was nice to watch sport again and really care about the result (ice hockey coverage is not that great over here). Congrats Title: Re: Scotland v France Post by: Hairydude on October 08, 2006, 12:35:04 PM great to hear canuck- its the same with my mate- she's lived here (after goin to uni here) for 6 years now and she was also jumping up and down going crazy- she thinks of herself as half scottish half irish now- its great to hear that our adopted scots support us just as much as we do
