Cruel is when early in a comp you have KK and a mad guy on the table who is all in (for 2500 chips) EVERY hand. You decide to call and see them have 88 Only for the flop to come 10 10 8 x x THATS cruel Or, deep into a tourney, you have aboce average chips and have AK in mid position, you raise 4 x BB and the guy on the button (with just more chips than you) re raises another 6 x BB - he has been doing this to most peoples raises and taking the pots uncontested. You feel you are ahead and re raise all in for approx 40xBB and he calls in an instant. You expect to see AA KK or QQ (your best bet) but no, he has A 10 o/s and duly hits the 10 on the river.
