Title: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: yt on September 05, 2005, 01:46:26 PM Any one have a list of crypto sites I can play this tourney on?
I have accounts at Pokerstars, Partypoker and Gaming Club at the moment. I know I can sign up with Will Hill (and I know they put in £150) but what is the best Crypto site to go with???? Thanks Steve Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: ifm on September 05, 2005, 01:51:07 PM they're all crap.

Betfair UK Betting Littlewoods Not really got an opinion on which is best (most will be in via Hills or Betfair, which are by far the biggest of the Cryptos), except to say that Betfair are on the verge of leaving crypto. Were one to assume that some blonde tourneys in the future were to be on crypto, that that might be something you want to consider. Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: yt on September 05, 2005, 01:58:38 PM Not as much choice as I expected. I guess I'll set up a will hill tonight then.
thanks steve Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: ifm on September 05, 2005, 02:05:45 PM no choice?

Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: ifm on September 05, 2005, 02:15:59 PM trust me as others see this you'll get a lot of folks promoting a certain site
Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: tikay on September 05, 2005, 03:38:08 PM The problem with recommending a particular site is that it can sometimes be interpreted as angle shooting.
If I say "Wiilliam Hil is best", or Ariston says "Betfair are best", we are "interested parties", so the advice is not impartial. Betfair to leave Crypto? Is that now confirmed then? Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: TightEnd on September 05, 2005, 03:41:14 PM My understanding is that it is happening and Betfair are looking to purchase a site
This is second hand though, not gospel Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: Scottish Dave on September 05, 2005, 04:12:41 PM The problem with recommending a particular site is that it can sometimes be interpreted as angle shooting. Is that now confirmed then? lets hope so tikay, crypto are serverely holding betfair back from becoming a well respected card room. IMO anyway Title: Re: Crypto sites for blonde tourney Post by: NoflopsHomer on September 05, 2005, 04:22:15 PM The problem with recommending a particular site is that it can sometimes be interpreted as angle shooting. Yeah, but we rarely see new threads on here entitled "Why Will Hill is so great and you should all use it" by Tikay. I would not insult the blondeites intelligence by making such a statement, ("Wm Hill are the best") as you know from experience. I like any number of card-rooms, including WH & SO, and it's well known that I made a living on PokerStars last year. blonde have "deals", & we always make you all aware of them. Currently, we have ongoing, long term deals with Poker 425 and Blue Square.com. Poker 425 is owned by Wiliam Hill. These have all been extensively articulated on the Forum. Essentially, these deals hinge around Live Updates & Reports & Previews, & they finance the Live Updates. In addition, I have personal deals with Poker 425, Wm Hill, and Sporting Odds.com, as well as various publications. Again, it's all been up front & on the Forum. It's good you gave me the "opening" to remind folks about these matters, especially with so many new members recently. |
