Post by: jezza777 on October 16, 2006, 11:22:53 PM The problem I have is that the size of his stack v yours bothers me and I am happy to push on the flop . when you flat call and a J,Q,K,A falls and he moves in you have a massive decision . If he is betting with AK here and he hits the turn you feel like a mug for letting him hit it . I think you need to close the pot down on the flop and if he has AA,KK,JJ then make a note and move on.

He only realisticallty loses to bigger pairs. This hand demonastrates again how hard it is to play these pairs out of position. I have no idea if his oppo is a good player etc... and his likely holdings. If it is a tribeca 8 min comp, i would be tempted to play for stacks on that flop, you dont have much long to wait for favourable situations before the blinds consume you

Just to get and idea of the kind of hand i could be up against hopefully it would take the pot there and then, he calls my re-raise I would think i was being beat.
