Title: The Adventures Of Poker Pete
Post by: roverthtaeh on October 22, 2006, 11:12:35 AM
Hello everybody.
Last night Poker Pete played at a cash table.
Do you know what a cash table is?
Poker Pete does.
He had three weeks worth of school dinner money at stake. And it all went in with a big hand.
Do you know what a big hand is?
Poker Pete doesn't.
There were 5 callers, despite the huge all-in raise on the Turn.
Do you know what a fish is?
Poker Pete does.
Cards on their backs. Poker Pete breathes a sigh of relief. It's looking very good. The only card that can beat Poker Pete now is the 5 of diamonds on the River.....
.... Do you know what a monitor looks like when it has a keyboard pushed through it?
Poker Pete does.
Poor Poker Pete.

Hello everybody.
Today, Poker Pete played in some tournaments.
Do you know what a tournament is?
Poker Pete does.
They were Sit & Go tournaments.
Do you know what Sit & Go means?
Poker Pete knows what the last part means.
At the bubble stage, Poker Pete was the chip leader, by a country mile.
Do you know what bubble means?
Poker Pete does.
Three pocket pairs outdrawn by under cards in three consecutive hands.
Do you know what outdrawn means?
Poker Pete does.
From chip leader to short stack in a matter of seconds.
Do you know what a short stack is?
Poker Pete does.
All in with a random hand. Called by pocket Kings. The Kings make quads.
Do you know how big a room needs to be for a flying cat?
Poker Pete does.
Poor cat.

Hello everybody.
Poker Pete has decided to have a poker-free month due to unforeseen cash flow problems.
When you can't even afford the freerolls, that's when it's time to get out.
Do you know how angry a landlord can get?
Poker Pete does.
Do you know what traction is?
Do you know the colour of the ceilings in a hospital recovery wing?
Poker Pete does.
Poor Poker Pete.
