Title: Jermaine Defoe Post by: MrMoves on October 23, 2006, 03:27:55 PM Still amazed each time I see it.
How can he not be sent off for biting like that? Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: matt674 on October 23, 2006, 03:33:57 PM What makes me laugh even more is the managers reactions and statements immediately after the game.
"It was just a playful nibble" was how Martin Jol saw it!! (though at least he doesnt need to visit specsavers eh Mr. Wenger! ;)) Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Colchester Kev on October 23, 2006, 04:18:46 PM I thought it was funny, no smack in the mouth, no head butt, no elbow ... no he bites him on the arm :D even funnier was mateys reaction ... i thought he was gonna cry .... it was just FUNNY !!

He will prob get a warning from the FA, if it was as bad as any of the others he would have got sent off. How many kids, who watched that, will react to a poor tackle in the same way? Football continues to descend into the gutter. Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Colchester Kev on October 23, 2006, 05:54:48 PM Defoe is such a short arse, he couldnt reach his ear even while they were both on the ground :)
Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Colchester Kev on October 23, 2006, 08:15:09 PM News just in .... FA to take NO FURTHER ACTION against Jermaine Defoe :)
Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Rooky9 on October 23, 2006, 09:15:32 PM It was really strange. But. The clue in whether it was actually a bite of any sort of force is in looking at Marcawannagohome as it happens, his first reaction is to look to the referee to get some sort of punishment handed out. To be fair my first reaction would be to stick one on him!
Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Karabiner on October 24, 2006, 08:49:54 AM Defoe has been ordered to wear a muzzle for the next six games and Mascherano has had rabies shots.
Should have been a :redcard: then he would have been in deep doodoo as the FA would have had to act. Title: Re: Jermaine Defoe Post by: Acidmouse on October 24, 2006, 01:11:37 PM I really dislike Defoe ever since he left Charlton as a kid to WestHam coz they bunged his Family with 30k.
Hope he gets a nice long punishment. Not many of the kids with great potential actually make it. |
