Post by: Colchester Kev on October 24, 2006, 12:42:52 AM SINGAPORE SLING For those of you that havent yet heard (well maybe there is someone I havent told) I am going to play in the Betfair Asian open in singapore 12th-18th November its a $5,000 buy in and an estimated prize pool of $2 million !! I have sold 10% of myself to blonde and I am also donating 5% as well ... so there is 15% of me up for grabs..... This is how we are going to do it. This Friday 27th at 8.30pm we are running a $1 rebuy NLHE with 2 x 15 minute levels of rebuys On top of the usual cash payout, we are adding the following... 1st gets 5% 2nd gets 4% 3rd gets 3% of any return if I cash in the main event 4th gets 2% 5th gets 1% Now I know the chances of me cashing are similar to that of me running the 100 metres in under 10 seconds LOL .... But it would be great if a few blondeites had an interest in the event and a small share of me. So save a couple of $$$ for Friday and lets have some fun Title: Re: You Wanna piece of me ?? Bertpup was the unlucky bubble boy but will get a T-Shirt for his efforts 5th was AndrewT who would have got 1% of my action in Singapore ...BUT after he went out the other guys led by the Bolton Lip himself (Ariston) Decided to chop up the % to 3% each and play for the other 2% ... but then added that if he won he would give Andrew the 2% meaning the top 5 would all get 3% each.The other 3 guys all agreed immediately .... Kudos to all for such great spirit. So after a great comp with over 150 rebuys we have the following result. 5th AndrewT 3% + $14.16 4th Ariston 3% + $17.70 3rd CelticGeeza 3% + $26.55 2nd Happybhoy 3% + $44.25 1st Teacake 3% + $74.34 Thanks to those that took part and I hope I can the bring the winners a few $$$$$ back from Singapore. I was thinking about it earlier and I'm having my first losing year in 4 (down about £500 roughly this year, still up overall) although I put that down to learning to playing live but it'll be fun to have a wee lottery ticket that could potentially pay off.
