surely a better situation would have your opponent turning over  3d 2s?

I don't do hand histories but a couple of weeks ago I got myself into a pot in a cash game. It was only 2/5 and I was playing around 300 when I raised round the back with 5h6h and got called by the big blind. Flop came 2h4h7c and the BB check raised me heavily, I moved allin and got called instantly, as this wasn't on betfair the cards didn't go on their backs. Turn and river both came non heart pictures and just as I was beginning to curse at missing my 387 outs twice the pot got pushed my way- BB had decided to get stubborn with 35 lool. Possible the worst hand I have won at pot at showdown with anyway lol.

I went allin knowing I was getting called (most of his stack was in so he wasn't folding) just on the value of how many outs I had- never in a million years did I think I was in front lol. I had just started to mutter for f..... when the pot headed my way so I instantly went to the instant hand history (dont know why I had to look as there was only one hand I could beat lol)

Must be a thing about 3's and 2's; was playing on party and getting towards the business end of a MTT when I made a bad call and lost half my stack. Next hand I was dealt pocket 3's in the cutoff and it was folded round to be so I shoved, I was insta-called by the SB for about a third of his stack, then the BB who had him covered moved in over the top. The SB dwells up for ages and eventually folds. Cards on there backs and the BB has shoved with pocket 2's nice treble up and back in the game. SB starts slating the BB because he folded queens.

I think thats a classic squeeze play.

I have a similar story...

Playing 1st ever live game in a casino.. a piddly crapshoot $3 PL rebuy... rebuy ends and split tables, move straight into BB

Look at my cards  3c 2c and think insta-fold. all fold except SB who limps..

flop is  2d 2h 7d, we both check

turn is 3h ( giving me a nice boat) we both check, both after thought

river is a  Qs

on the river he raises minimum amount... I think for about a minute... he pot limit raises... and we both continue raising till we are both all in

he turns...  2s 4s.. I grimace.. and turn mine over

he( or maybe was a she I couldnt tell) has a gutted look

INSTANT table chip leader :)

Yes I think that was what he was trying but a bit silly though under the circumstances and holding 22's . I remember a WPT episode when a short stacked Chip Reese moved in for about a quarter of the two big stacks chips, James Tiffin an amateur flat called in the SB with queens and then Barry Grenstein moved all in over the top with AK from the BB. I remember thinking at the time if he moved in there  BG would probable have folded. BG eliminated them both when he flopped a boat. I always remember this episode because Randy Jensen was playing and after BG re-raised him he said something like 'I'm going to find those kids(referring to his charity donations) and punch 'em'. The whole audience was shocked, I just p*ssed myself laughing.
