Title: Would you have played it differently?
Post by: GlasgowBandit on October 25, 2006, 11:07:34 PM
27 players left and its like peanuts down to top 5 places.

I have just over average but there are about 9 players with almost double the stack I have and more I.

Personally in hindsight I reckon I should have pushed pre flop I think I ahead of Hoskas but was unsure about the initial raiser.  The flop is a decent one for me.  I think if I check it am going to get it in  on the turn anyway when the 9 hits.

Opinions?

I must admit, I'd have played it pretty similar myself.

I would have folded to the initial preflop raise with 5 players still to act after me, then would have folded to the reraise preflop if for some reason I'd called the first bet.  You can't pass on the flop, but two bad calls preflop got you into this mess.

yeah I'd agree with that. Calling the first raise, I dunno but fair enough, the reraise and the call? surely not with A9 sooted and your chip stack.
