Spotted George geary and Mallu waiting in the wings though. The latter seems particulalry confident and is threatening to Mallu the whole of Scandinavia. Uh-oh, there could be a few raised forign eyebrows this week when half the field finds themselves on the wrong end of a good ol' fashioned Malluing. NoflopsHomer called me up the other day claiming he had a problem. "What's the matter?" I asked "Well, I've bought this jigsaw puzzle, but it's too hard," replied Floppy, "none of the pieces fit together and I can't find any edges." "What's the picture of?", I asked. "It's of a big rooster", said Floppy. "All right," I said, "I'll come over and have a look." When I arrived, he thanked me for coming over and led me over to the kitchen table where he had the jigsaw laid out. I took one look at what he'd been struggling with and said, "Oh, for for crying out loud, put the cornflakes back in the box!" Flop = Jc Ad Kd Lodden checks, MB bets 300, called by Lodden. Turn = 7h Lodden checks, MB bets 600, Lodden calls again. River = 4h Guess what happened!? Yes, Lodden checked, MB bet (this time 2,700), Lodden called. MB won, but I didn't quite catch his hand, Lodden mucked. But the important thing is that Lodden is already moving and shaking, subsequently losing a chunk of his chips. Anyhow, there's a reason why Roy is so happy and mimicking the PokerStars man. He's just doubled up in truly bizarre circumstances. In fact, I reckon this is the sickest pot I have ever seen live, I had to double check that it wasn't Mallu. Roy raised to 200 from under-the-gun with Jc 9c Mateyboy re-raised to 700 in the Big Blind. As if he reads blonde!) Anyhow, there's a reason why Roy is so happy and mimicking the PokerStars man. "It's all gone pear-shaped. Down to 3.500 from 15,000. First one I got caught slowplaying Kings, not pre-flop but on the Turn. I pot bet the Flop but checked the Turn hoping he was going to shove some chips in, but he didn't and managed to hit an Ace on the River with his A-Q. He then bet 2,500 into a pot of 8,500. And then, soon after I was in the small blind and called a 600 button raise from Liam Flood. The big blind, who had been steaming, moved all-in and I called with my A-Q, thinking that he was on tilt. Unfortunately, he had A-K and I lost some more chips." Title: Re: PokerStars Dublin EPT: Day 1A - Interactive Post by: NoflopsHomer on October 26, 2006, 07:52:43 PM Blinds are about to become 150/300

Title: Re: PokerStars Dublin EPT: Day 1A - Interactive Post by: snoopy1239 on October 26, 2006, 09:07:54 PM Roberto Romanello is OUT.
I felt a tug at my shirt and as I turned round I was met by Martyn Cavanagh who had risen from his table to lure my attention towards the neighbouring table, one in which held the dulcit tones of one Roberto Romanello, a player who many will know isn't the meekest when it comes to table talk. And he was at it again, this time giving his opponent a full tasting of Welsh verbal. The decision was down to Mateyboy in the small blind, and whilst Romanello adopted the unorthodox stance pictured below, it was obvious to me that he'd made the initial raise which was met by a re-raise from Mateyboy in the small blind. Romanello must have moved over the top to leave us in the position I, and all the viewers that were now buzzing around the table, were witnessing. It appeared as though Mateyboy was close to folding, but the more Romanello talked the more he hesitated. "It's a lot of money" "I know you're going to fold, just throw them" "You've been playing agressive, I can't let you keep re-raising" "I know you don't have a pair, let me check to see if I have one" ... were just a few of the numerous comments flung Mateyboy's way. After a while, and boy was it a while, Mateyboy caved in and opted for a call, clearly influenced, in my humble opinion, by the trash talk of the Welshman. As Mateyboy revealed his A-K unsuited, Romanello was satisfied but clearly disappointed not to have his man dominated. His Queens only serving to provide him with a coinflip. With a grit determination on his face, Roberto watched in anticipation as the dealer dealt out the 7-6-3 Flop. 9 on the Turn and it was looking good for Romanello until the Poker God's jumped down from the heavens only to slap the Welshman across the face with a wet kipper. An Ace on the River and Romanello was sent packing, gutted but maintaining his composure enought to congratualte his opponent and wish the table good luck. A big pot escapes the Welsh contingent, but only just... Well Jeff is down for Table 18, Seat 1, which is the seat of this chap here in the blue jumper, but whether it's Jeff or not I'm unsure as the players tend to move around. Anyhow, the small blind on the left (yep, that's Lodden's noggin in the middle) made up the small blind, Jeff (I hope) in the big blind raised to 900, small blind shoved in 3k, only for Jeff to add another 6k. The small blind folded. How about that for a battle of the blinds?... Title: Re: PokerStars Dublin EPT: Day 1A - Interactive Post by: snoopy1239 on October 26, 2006, 09:33:38 PM Dave Masters is OUT

Case 2: Mateboy 1 makes a huge bet on the river of a Ad Kc Jd Tc Kd board. Mateboy 2 calls with Ahrt 8h which ahead of the 6s 5s. Title: Re: PokerStars Dublin EPT: Day 1A - Interactive Post by: NoflopsHomer on October 26, 2006, 10:24:11 PM Big TK has been a busy man the last few minutes.
First he had to adjudicate in a pot when at the river of a Q-Q-8-J-8 board, one player bet 4k, and was called and forced to show 7-7. The other player pushed his cards over the line, but after they crossed he suddenly realised the board and turned over his 9-9. A couple of players thought he had mucked and Big TK stepped in, declaring that because the cards were still seperate from the dealer's deck and the dealer had not touched them that they were still live and took the pot. Then on Roy Brindley's table a player raised and it was passed round to the big blind who was thinking about calling, the dealer hadn't seen him as he passed the pot over to the raiser and began to shuffler the cards. TK declared that the blinds and antes would have to be shared between the two players. The BB showed Ks 9s to show he felt he had a playable hand. Thomas Kremser: "There'll be a ten minute break. Players will race off for their 100's and return for the last level of the day" (oddly, that wasn't an exclusive) Rob Taylor: "I can't get going, I double up, then I donk some chips off, double up, donk some more chips, double up, donk some, and so on." Stuart Fox: "I hear you've been putting some dodgy pics up on the blonde updates of me?..." snoopy: "Nah, not me Mr Fox..." R Mulla: "I was down to just 3k at one point after my A-K was outdrawn by A-Q, but I'm back up to 19k, mainly due to my Pocket Kings holding up for once." Nick Slade: (who's lost a tower) "Aah, I got done by A-9. 9 high flop, I bet it out and he called. We reached the River which came an Ace and I called his 5k bet with my Pocket Jacks. Bah, humbug!" (Okay, I confess, I added the last two words myself) Sverre Sundbo: "I'm doing okay, running steady with about average. Had a couple of bad beats but been lucky myself too" (Not sure what Sverre's talking about, he's playing tomorrow. Although he has been suffering from concussion recently) Title: Re: PokerStars Dublin EPT: Day 1A Post by: snoopy1239 on October 27, 2006, 12:48:11 AM If there is any one you wish us to follow, the please post the players name...can u follow james blundell please..tytytyt xxxxx cheers He's on 16k m8.
