And just like that, JP has doubled up, there was a  Aspades Qs Jd board and matey checked, so JP pushed with his Ts 8s assuming the board was too dangerous to trap with, matey called with Ac Qd though but a 9s came on the river.

Elsewhere Red called an UTG raise with Ac Kd and bet out the Ks Qs 7s flop but was called and slowed down with the 8s hit the turn and mucked to a bet, he was shown the Aspades Js, so the turn definately saved him although he's still down 1k or so.

Sverre Sundbo just turned up in the press room, so I'm guessing he's OUT.

First off he doubled up former Mob member, Ross Boatman, with Queens versus Kings.

And then, with just 2k left, his Pocket Eights failed to stand up against K-Q. King on the River.

Simon Trumper is OUT.

Re-raised an early position raised from the Big Blind to 1,650 with Aces. An extra 1,200 to call, which the initial raiser did.

Not wanting to mess around and hoping that his opponet moved in with a hand like Tens or Jacks, Simon bet 2,400, a bet which his opponent called, although at one point he was even mulling up a re-raise.

Turn = 9h

Not a great card, but Simon, who wasn't going to pass, had the Ace of Hearts, and so moved all-in.

His opponent announced, "I've got lucky here" and called with his 7d 6d.

Simon still had 13 outs, but it wasn't to be as the River brought the Ks.

Geeforce is back up to 10k, he turned a set of Nines that got paid off.

He was down to 3k, then ran into the button's Kings when he was in the small blind with Tens, leaving him with just 350, he then doubled up to 950 with K-Q against A-J and the possibility of a Thewy revival came into play. There was a UTG raise to 600 and a call, followed by Julian pushing for 950, with another call behind him, then the big blind pushed all in to spoil all their fun giving Jules the chance to quadruple up but unfortunately his A-Q was dominated by the A-K of the BB.

Devilfish is OUT after his threes (all-in pre-flop) failed to hold up against a limpers A-4. 8 on the River gave Mateyboy a Q-5-6-7-8 straight.

Thomas Dunwoodie has just been eliminated too.

Pab is OUT, most of the damage done when he called a re-raise from aggressive scandiegirl preflop and called her 4k bet on the J-7-5 flop with sixes, he then bet 8k virtually putting her all-in on a 2nd Jack turn, she called all-in with Tens leaving Pab with just 4k. With the ante, a round was costing 1k a time, so Pab pushed UTG with 7-5 and was called in the BB by Michael Greco's A-J.

Roland de Wolf has just won one of the biggest pots of the comp so far.

Action on a flop of J-9-3 (two of clubs) sees both players check an Ace of Clubs Turn. Roland then moves all-in on the red Ten River, a bet which his opponent calls after a lengthy session in the think tank.

Mateyboy shows Pocket Kings (including the King of Clubs), but Roland scoops a massive pot with J-T (no clubs) and Roland is probably in the top 3 chip leaders with 80k.

Stu Rutter lost a few chips again but doubled back up with K-K against A-Q before the end of play.

In the very last hand of Roland's table, Andreas Hagen raises, Roland re-raises and the shortish big blind pushes all-in, Andreas pushes in behind him and Roland is forced to call.
