Title: QQ early in a rebuy
Post by: NoflopsHomer on November 01, 2006, 08:26:42 PM
I've hit a fair few hands early, flopping a full house against trip kings, turning a straight against a set but this hand had me stumped.

     whit2006 is at seat 0 with 1530.
CoolKen is at seat 1 with 2070.
     DukeRB89 is at seat 2 with 3780.
RCHDH is at seat 3 with 1695.
Let it Ride l is at seat 4 with 1370.
RichbaRich is at seat 5 with 1080.
     fireman708 is at seat 6 with 4455.
     Foaming_Homer is at seat 7 with 7505.
Wise Wizzard is at seat 8 with 1110.
     mprice024 is at seat 9 with 2405.
The button is at seat 3.

Let it Ride l posts the small blind of 10.
RichbaRich posts the big blind of 20.

Pre-flop:

          fireman708 folds.   Foaming_Homer raises to 80.   Wise
Wizzard folds.   mprice024 folds.   whit2006 folds.
CoolKen folds.   DukeRB89 folds.   RCHDH re-raises to
          140.

What now? No info on my opponent.

raise to 400-500- call an allin bet, bet any flop if called unless a or k on flop- its a rebuy- could be any hand that he holds but in rebuy phase- with ni prior knowledge-  a show of strength may mean anyhing... or nothing- aim to maximise premium hands here- if he has aa or kk so be it- likewise if he outdraws you...

flat call. if he's got aces you should be able to find out by the flop play. there's no way to tell if its a fish or a trap when you're faced with an underraise early on.
