$35k on Stars tonight, just happened.  Matey has been donking off his chips and is on about half what he was on about 10 minutes ago.  He's also just lost 2 smallish pots (around 3k) to me

If you think he is donking off his chips quickly, then you have to call. Easier to try and get them off him now than a better player later and you may not get a better chance later. At worst I think you're on the better side of a coinflip.

I better stop using the word 'better' I need to think of a... superior word.

yeah I'd call this it's a massive overbet and he probably wouldn't make this with AA , KK (although I have seen some people make it with QQ) I call....I'll take the race every time.

I call, he either has AK or a smaller pair imo.
