I don't see how its a monster, you have the 3rd low draw. Together with a str8 draw on a flushing board. I am check calling. Title: Re: How would you have played this PL omaha HL hand? I am check calling. yeah I wouldn't have raised with this. It's a truly awfull hand to have as there are soo many hands that can beat your high and low if the turn and river don't go your way. and your low could of course already be F'ed. Title: Re: How would you have played this PL omaha HL hand? Post by: Sheriff Fatman on November 03, 2006, 11:48:57 AM As the others have indicated, this should have been folded pre-flop. Unless an Ace and a deuce flop then its a hand that might win half a pot. Scoop potential is virtually zero.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL FlushyFish! on this flop this hand is going pretty hard and should be played HARD to make at least 1/2 the pot yours by eliminating either the higher high draws and getting the bare counterfeitable lows to commit. Check call? HU PLhi/Lo flushy? Me and you? MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA............ You bring the ice and I'll bring the HEAT! Title: Re: How would you have played this PL omaha HL hand? Post by: The_Diamond on November 05, 2006, 03:21:28 PM Well in fairness, you came in for a raise, which is a hell of a lot better than open limping here. Your hand is well disguised and its not THAT terrible. the problem is you'll never get action from a weaker hand when you hit the flop hard with this piggy which is why you should just throw it away.
Title: Re: How would you have played this PL omaha HL hand? Post by: snoopy1239 on November 05, 2006, 03:40:18 PM This isn't a raising hand, in fact, it's better off in the muck right from the off.
To hit the low, you're going to have flop an Ace 2, and if that happens then you're going to be hard pushed to have a decent high too unless you have the wheel. You really need an A-2, A-3, 2-3 or, at a pinch A-4 in your starting hand. 3-4 isn't really worth your time. You need to win both ends don't forget and if you are fortunate enough to make a straight, it's unlikely that your low is good so you'll only ever really win half the pot. Once you reach the flop, it's still a poor hand. You are beaten for half the pot by any A-3 or A-4 and could be splitting with a 4-5. You don't even have the straight yet and, if you do pursue it, you can still be beaten by a flush or full house. This really is a hand and situation that is going to cost you a lot of money in the long run. Title: Re: How would you have played this PL omaha HL hand?
