I just saw an advert on the telly and it got me thinking.

I like lots of personal space. i am most comfortable when people are at lease a stride away from me. I walk back when people with less personal space needs, sttep towards me. their face at mine...get out out it :tikay:

What are your personal space requirements?

I don't mind people being close to me, I'm used to it what with travelling on trains and buses for years before I could drive but I hate it when someone is talking to me and puts their face close to mine (unless I'm going to kiss them I mean!)

I'm a touchy-feely person so it doesn't bother me too much really.

I think there should be a bigger space in between posts. I feel cramped on this thread.

I like a bit of space, I don't want anyone in my face.

I cannot play Roulette, my personal space is too invaded for that.

I just wanna punch everyone out of my way.

There is one particular Poker player who places his face right close against the face of whoever he is speaking to - it's just intolerably uncomfortable. Some foks just don't have social skills.

a big slipper is something that you put your feet in on cold nights. you can get them with heating, like an electric blanket.
billy connoly does a gag based on the big slipper. one of those items you get from the sunday newspaper magazine adverts :)

If I don't know someone - the rules are simple - keep at least 0.5 m away from me.   If I know someone very well and I like them - 2 cm will suffice.

Ah baboons, if they are younger, stronger and better looking then me, they are allowed into my quaters once a week, usually on saturdays for a preening sessions.

My feet like their personal space, too.....
