Title: Did I play AK right UTG?
Post by: Stone on November 04, 2006, 09:25:29 PM
I have my own opinion but I'd like to get your feedback on my move

Situation - Walsall £25 rb Satellite for £1000 Midland Masters Event, down to last 10 on two tables (9 for the final) - 3 seats and £625 up for grabs!

ME - UTG with 9K chips - Blinds 800 - 1600 - Tightish image although could have been seen to knick last two blinds with moderate raises

Seat 2 - 4K (tight looking to survive)

Button - 14K (Tight Player favours playing small pairs aggressively)

SB - 11K - (Not interested in playing just wants to get to Final)

BB - 25k Approx (getting up alot form the table looking to cruise to a seat)

No Obvious short stacks on the other table

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dealt  Ad Ks - All in!

After my Push in hear behind me down to 9!

Good move or do I deserve to get my  ;izimbra;

Will let you know the result later.

Nothing wrong with it, Easy Push. Whats it matter if you make the last 9??? You want top 3, dont give a s*** about the final table.

Push, you don't have stack to pass this hand... and with the stack ratio to blinds, if u raise you are commited, and u can limp but then someone can try to push you of the hand so you call or fold?

PUSH......

Thanks guys for the replies, I felt it was an easy move 5 handed. To RookieITB's point my only thought about possibly folding till the final table, was that I may get a better situation as the blinds aren't going to come round so fast.

Interestingly the Lady on the button had  Kh Qd, needless to say  Kc Qh came on flop and turn. But it wasn't a BBeat story honest, just interested in the last table dynamic!

Looks like I have to head back to Walsall for another go.

Good Luck to everyone else who is trying to qualify....

Good read!

This is a clear push and i fancy it is a BB story!
