Title: Re: The new VC players lounge Post by: pokerdave69 on November 08, 2006, 11:37:57 AM Yep i've been on monday and tuesday for the last 2 weeks, absoluetly fantastic place £18 membership until end of Jan plus £5 everytime you visit but no extra charges such as 10% for tournament entries or hourly rate for cash games, you just pay your fiver and thats your lot. Really easy to get to aswell. At the moment they are open on mondays for a £30 nl hold'em comp with 1 rebuy in the first hour plus 1 add on, and on tues they are running a £50 nl hold'em freezout which victor chandler have stumped up £5000. It works like this, every one starts off with 3k in chips when there is 25% of the field left i.e 100 runners 25 left play then stops and the remaining 25% go through to the final on the 6th dec where the prize pool should be about 15k. The first heat was last night and it will be running for the next 3 tuesdays starting at 7.00pm. Hope this helps. If you need more info just give me a shout. Regards. Dave
