Post by: iceman on November 11, 2006, 12:52:03 PM
could some one tell me what happens in a live game if u sit out when its your sb-when can u next recieve a hand? ive noticed online (w/hills) that if i sit out sb i can post it 2 hands later in the cut off ,effectively letting me play sb in much better position. does this happen on any other sites?

yes it happens on the sites I play, but you have to post a dead small blind when you return, after you've missed the button

If you do it constantly in a live cash game you will be Mr unpopular...not great etiquette

Live, a "missed blinds" button will be placed in front of your stack so that everyone knows when you return you'll be posting dead blinds

Can't you wait til the BB gets to you again?
