More chance of that happening than Rankgers winning the SPL :-)

I wonder how you would actually do if you did just heavily back teams like Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea when they went 2-0 up... I'm not even sure any of these teams have thrown that lead away in a second half.

You wouldn't get any money on backing them for the win once they go 2-0 up.  Odds on BF completely go and you can only lay them at 1.01

Backing them to win every match from the start may yield a profit - they generally only lose a few a season.

A sad day for Liverpool fans.

5 away defeats already - to Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Everton and Bolton, IMO the 5 toughest away games for us admittedly, but it's no excuse.

To win the league you must beat the top teams as Chelsea do consistently. We are still miles off. Let's hope our home form gets us some reversals in those matches in the second half of the season.

The worst stat today was Liverpool 11 attempts, 1 on target - Arsenal 8 attempts, 8 on target. It's just not good enough. As close as the midfield battle was, there was a gulf in class in front of goal.

Well done to the Gooners.

A localish match vs a very physical team. In recent years at home they've beaten almost everyone at home. Arsenal & Man U included.

Bolton away is one of the toughest games of the season IMO.

Agree with that, we always struggle against them

i think it was fairly comfortable throughout the whole game for us to be honest.

i think the big problem liverpool/benitez has is they dont know there best 11 and dont seem to ever get momentum going. On the way to the game we could name 10 of the 11 starters for arsenal, the only 1 we debated was who would replace rosicky, we thought he might play flamini or possibly walcott, it seems wenger got it spot on.

about liverpool losing 5 games away at the biggest clubs i do agree with that to a degree but watford have lost 5 games too this season, excatly the same fixtures. surley liverpool have a greater ambition and expectation than to be on par with watford  ;goodvevil;.

baron dont be too down you will probably beat our 3rd team in the carling cup  ;whistle;

The thing is Benitez has gained momentum before. Throughout last season when we had 9 and 11 game winning streaks he was doing the same rotation policy.... no-one seemed to notice then. When Gerrard scored 23 goals from right-midfield no-one noticed he was out of position then either.... When Benitez rotated the "stars" with the likes of Le Tallec, Traore, Smicer, Mellor and Pongolle and won the European Cup in 2005 no-one said a word....

Liverpool fans know our team is playing terribly. The funny thing is these two teams that are miles apart are in actualy fact only 4 points away from each other (plus one game in hand). So I still hold out hope for when we do start playing well.
