Having travelled throught most of this world we live in, you become somewhat immune to new places, but the charms of Vienna will live with me for a long time. Some seriously top notch restaurants around as well - its not all wiener schnitzel ! unfortunately never got round to playing any cards. maybe thats a good thing ! Went to the Arsenal museum last visit - amazing place, 500 years of central European history. The architecture is incredible - there can't be many cities to surpass it. Also it really isn't that expensive, a coffee and pot of tea in the Grand Hotel only cost us £5. There are plenty of restaurants that serve great food and plenty of great value hotels - even 5 star for reasonable prices. Not forgetting the Concord with its well run tournaments, top class dealers and knowledgeable floor staff.
