Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: Rooky9 on November 17, 2006, 12:45:55 AM No 8) Well....I look very similar to George Clooney, though in a youthful Brad Pitt kind of way. Sadly my physic does not quite match Brad's, I am more of a 6 foot 4 Vin Diesel frame.... can you help?! Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: thetank on November 17, 2006, 01:06:56 AM Whoosh, not sure I'm on the right wavelength.
Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: snoopy1239 on November 17, 2006, 01:08:38 AM You can do this on something as simple as paint by creating a box around your picture, copying and pasting on a new document.
Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: thetank on November 17, 2006, 01:11:03 AM Yeah, but to get rid of pesky white rectangles, you need happybhoy's thang.
Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: Rooky9 on November 17, 2006, 01:13:48 AM Whoosh, not sure I'm on the right wavelength. Your No 8) looked like a 'no I can't but i can' reply... being whitty I thought it would be good for you to find a photo to represent me... with the 'as it happens I am a cross between Clooney, Pitt and Diesel!' (for legal reasons I am not actually a close resemblance to these three) Nothing clever... am just tired and simple! Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: thetank on November 17, 2006, 01:49:55 AM Ah, I see.
Turns out, I had fallen off the seesaw a few posts before that. The cumulative confusion had gotten to me. No 8) That was just me trying to wing it. To look like I knew what was going on. (NOT as opposed to a half old one - but you know what I mean!) Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: Bongo on November 17, 2006, 01:26:10 PM Around the edge of the pic there are some black squares in the corners and the middle of the sides, hover the mouse over them until the cursor changes, click the mouse and drag.
Title: Re: Cropping photos in Paint Post by: happybhoy on November 17, 2006, 01:50:30 PM I was going to suggest that but when I fired paint up to check I was a bit bleary eyed, my mousepad sensitivity seemed to have set itself to 'requires jackhammer' and I couldn't see the wee grab-boxes cause my screen resolution was set to stupidly wee (I can run google earth on 1:1 scale and still have room round the edges for a quick game of poker).
