Title: God damn Customer Services/Lappie Help Post by: smithy69 on November 17, 2006, 08:41:54 AM Got home last night expecting to have my nice shiny laptop on the table, ready to plug in, and start surfing the web.
Instead I get home to a letter stating there is a problem with delivery on my purchase and can I call customer services asap (the cheek of it). I call the telephone number given and then am put on hold for about 20 mins (not happy). A very nice lady told me that stock of my product was zero and wouldnt be restocked until the 14th December. Title: Re: God damn Customer Services/Lappie Help Post by: Zebediah on November 17, 2006, 09:48:28 AM That spec is about 1000 times more than you need to play online poker.
But should do pretty much anything you want. When my laptop went wonky, as a filler I got a P700 for £30 off ebay (local), it was more than capable of playing poker till I got my new laptop. Now it is a good machine for the kids to break...my new laptop is off limits! As the wife says, I have 5 kids not 4, and my favourite is the square silver one. Title: Re: God damn Customer Services/Lappie Help Post by: lazaroonie on November 17, 2006, 09:49:56 AM with the current huge oversupply in the laptop market, there is no way I would be waiting 4 weeks to get a machine, unless it had very specific custom fitted options.

Don't bother with them. I disagree. Ok, the way i see it is that if you are going to use these then you are going to need to use software that utilises them and if you are using software that will benefit from a dual core processor, why not just buy a dual processor computer.
