Playing the $7k on UB. Now I was shocked Holdem2it doesn't jam the flop here, but is there an arguement to hope that if rhipid is good enough to fold the nut straight on the flop if he knows he's at best drawing to the split, he would jam the turn if he felt Holdem2it was drawing, thereby getting all of the former's chips in on the turn allowing Holdem2it to completely freeroll for his whole stack on the river? Very interested in opinions here.

I don't see too much benefit to slowplaying this. People tend not to fold the nuts in tournaments at least from what I have seen (although it's hard to see what someone has folded of course!)

Slowplaying carries the risk here of not getting the full benefit of the hand, for instance when you improve to a flush on the turn and your action is killed ( as happened.)

Also the board can pair which carries a dual risk of killing your action, and enabling an aggressive opponent to possibly push you off the hand.

There's very few ways your opponent's hand can improve to benefit you. He can make a smaller flush but will be wary that this has made your hand. In fact he's more likely to think his smaller flush is good if you are aggressive on the flop since he will associate this aggression with you having flopped the straight.

He may also want to get busy on the flop with a straight and a smaller flush redraw incorrectly assessing that he is freerolling you.

Also you get to charge sets to fill up when he is semi bluffing the flop.

The only time I see slowplaying being beneficial is when he has a smaller straight, say K9, and your flat call gives him the nudge to think he is good and put more chips in when he may pass to aggression on the flop. A good player will usually play a 2nd best straight on a board which is 100% in the active zone with caution though.

Betting out will mean a big str8 more often than it does a little one here so this benefit of slow playing seems marginal in this case.
