Hi everyone, may i just say this forum is like nothing i have seen before in terms of intresting threads and helpfull reading.
        I am totally new to this forum, so to start, my name is Dom, and i live in Nottingham. My screen name is domgoran so feel free to say hello if ya happen to see me online, would be nice to get a bit of mate/friend confidence booster when playing as my wife ain't interested, i know no one online in the poker rooms, and i have only been playing for real money for about 4 weeks or so,. I dont do too bad, but i have a habit of takng silly risks, and more often than not, losing a nice pot, to some lucky river, not lucky for me though:)
 Right sorry for rambeling on, hope to see you soon, mebbie even take a pot or 2 off ya, ....then again, maybe not.

There are heaps of blondeites who live in Nottingham & Derby, whereabouts are you in Notts?

If you ever fancy playing "live", and you come down to Gala, you can be sure that the local blondeites will take good care of you, show you the ropes, & generally make sure you have a good time.

I am 100% sure others will welcome you to blonde too, but give them time, some of them are having their Sunday dinner, or at venues, & won't catch up till later.

Hi Dom. I'm based in Grantham so am quite local to you. I play at the Gala in Nottingham as well as a couple of low stake private games in Nottingham. As for Hammersmith Hosp, after they tried to kill me last year, I don't go anywhere near the palce and jump on the bus all the way to Hammersmith to work :)

Wormwood Scrubs looks so blooming forboding though doesn't it? Even though I have never been in tourble with the cops, and I even feel guilty walking past a policeman, when I go past that place, I always get a shiver, and make a mental note to make sure I don't ever do anything that would get me in a place like that!

Wormwood Scrubs? I agree Heidi, what a foreboding sight it is. Way past it's sell-by date. I recall Train Robber Biggs escaping from there (or was it Wandsworth?), & a policeman - or was it two - was murdreed on the "real" Wormwood Scrubs, which is a sort of giant recreation ground,where they play 50 or more footie matches on a Sunday morning. Or used to, a year or two back.....

Take it from me it's not all pretty wallpaper and pastel walls inside either  ;)

Tikay, has an understandable fear of prisons .... he nearly ended up in one after being arrested for .."IMPERSONATING A POKER PLAYER"  ...he was saved when a judge looked into his record of "played starting hands" and threw the case out of court saying " anyone gullible enough to believe he had a hand, deserves everything they get " :)


Ironside too was arrested for  "BREAKING INTO A FIVER"  but he was let off because it was his first offence ;)

I had 4 "misreads" yesterday.

Q-3, 9-4 & 7-3 all got through safely without action. But after not showing a hand (not having one to show either) I made an awful misread with 5-3. Looked at my cards, put my specs on, looked again, carefully, looked around the table, full Oscar job, & then moved in.

Mr Numpty calls me with A-J, I express shock & horror when I realise my mistake, he misses & I river the 3.

PokerQueen is just turned 18, & is, shall we say, easy on the eye & a real top of the range model. Stunning!

off the subject again...I used to play on goal for a team that played on the pitches by Wormwood scrubs on a sunday afternoon. Even on a completely calm day the wind froze your cobblers off. We played against a team of prison warders in our league.

Shall we just say that we would stuggle to get 11 players before that match...injuries, otherwise engaged, woke up feeling ill, car broke down on the way. The most fearsome lot you could ever wish to encounter.

Once had to play 9 against 11, lost 14-0 (NO SCOTTISH GOALKEEPER JIBES PLEASE!) and then the showers were cold

So sorry Tikay.. did not realise it was your birthday.. or you would have got more than a hug n peck..cough  cough.. ;).. It was nice seeing you again , was one hell of a weekend only wish i could stay up all nite like most did ...but i needed my sleep.  Reactive, the winner,  was a superb bloke..never looks sober but that's just him..very nice person indeed.Actually everyone i met was very nice.. I let Ariston down i'm afraid as i didn't last longest out of the females..SORRY..

It was that bad i never looked ..hubby  thinks around 70 ish.. but that is a big guess..& he did go on to get slightly intoxicated,

              Gala for real life poker, never played in the flesh and skin before as so to speak so i am definatly up for taggin along and enjoying losing all meh moneh:) But thats ok too, the experience would be well worth it.
              I live in the Alfreton/Hucknall side of Nottingham, allthough i do have a couple of brothers who live in Broxtowe, so i get about ere and there:0

The thing is, we have had nearly 42,000 Posts on blonde, & yours is only the second one ever to compliment me..... (I posted the other one).

Dom - great news that we may see you at Gala Notts one night. Post on here when you decide to try it out, & I guaranteee you that a blondeite or two will get you sorted & look after you.
