Title: Crash Post by: roverthtaeh on November 26, 2006, 09:53:50 PM Just watched a rental movie on DVD called 'Crash', from 2005 apparently.
Kevin Dillon and Sandra Bullock were in it. I'd not heard of this film before tonight and only really chose it at random, but I would recommend it to anyone. There is some strong language and an obvious racial tension theme but the way the film interweaves the characters and their respective outlooks on life was a refreshing change. By the end, I realised I had just seen an exceptionally good movie with a very clever storyline. Just thought I'd pass on my thoughts. Trev. Title: Re: Crash Post by: Graham C on November 26, 2006, 09:56:04 PM It's a great movie, very emotional, especially one point in particular which I won't mention incase anyone is going to watch it. Brought a tear to my eye more than once.

Seriously though, I only saw it a few weeks ago myself and would recommend it to anyone who's not yet seen it. Sheriff Title: Re: Crash Post by: roverthtaeh on November 26, 2006, 10:46:45 PM I live in Cornwall. ::)

I also thought this wasnt going to be my type of film and put off watching it , finally nothing else to watch couple of weeks ago and thought oh well may as well ........... excellent .Title: Re: Crash Post by: BrumBilly on November 27, 2006, 07:48:10 PM Could someone please tell me the film Don Cheadle plays a 'cockney explosives expert' in so I can be sure to avoid it!
I've just tracked down a film he was in years back about a legendary basketball star who got stuck in the Harlem drug scene and so never made the NBA. Thankfully, nothing more explosive than his phenomenal vertical. 'Rebound-The Legend of Earl "The Goat" Manigault' Title: Re: Crash Post by: Jim-D on November 27, 2006, 08:24:02 PM Could someone please tell me the film Don Cheadle plays a 'cockney explosives expert' in so I can be sure to avoid it! Can't avoid it as I've seen it already...lol Have no recollection of him in it though. Only remember a few scenes from that film as it was pretty much high on style and lacking in substance. I prefer the original though many think the remake is better. |
