Title: Stag Evening
Post by: smithy69 on November 27, 2006, 09:44:35 AM
Did anyone go to Romfords Dog's on Saturday.

About 40 of us turned up for a Stag, and hatched a plan. The Stag is a guy I work with and is usually quite reserved. He was made to do a Dirty Pint - (Half a Lager, and every shot on the top shelf) and then the 100 shot challenge (You have to drink a shot of lager every minute for a 100 minutes) If you do this you then become a Centurion and respect is gained lolol. This doesn't sound to bad, until you add it all up - 100 shots of lager = 6 pints in an hour and a half. Thats a decent amount for a hardened drinker, let alone a guy who doesn't drink on a regular basis. Well he had done all of the above before 5pm so was well on his way to being drunk - This is actually a understatement as he barfed about a dozen times during the afternoon, plus a further 4 times in the bus toilet on the way to the Greyhounds.

We arrived at the dogs and sprung a surprise on him. We had bought him a huge Rabbit's outfit(I mean huge) which he of course was expected to wear throughout the evening.

My point is what would you expect of a 7ft Rabbit at a Greyhound track!!!!!!!!!!!

a) Sit in the corner drinking a beer.
b) Stand in the betting ring, drinking a beer whilst looking a prat and wearing a 7ft rabbit's costume.
c) Be made to run around the track in the aforementioned 7ft Rabbit suit whilst being chased by a friend pretending to be a Greyhound, and both of them being chased by 3 security guards!!!!

i dont know why someone would want to drink that much alcohol and poison the liver. i certainly would not be encouraging any of my friends to do it either. maybe ive just matured. did he make the wedding?

I would be extremely suprised if the wedding was the next day, I think most people have realised that the big night needs to be the week before at least.
