Title: Broadway Festival -Birmingham--Impressive!
Post by: Malc-M on September 11, 2005, 09:45:09 PM
Fabulous festival at Broadway this week- £100, £300, £500 and £1,000 tournaments all N/L.

Really well organised by Richard and his team of staff-- Good dealers, pleasant valets--

No juice at all-- Not even for the satellites which were all house dealer dealt-

Free breakfast every day..
Free secure parking--
Even a free bar for the main event for all players!!

Excellent atmosphere in this new ( I think 6months) old casino-- Just a few slots and the normal Roulette, Blackjack etc-- Good size cardroom---

This place is excellent-- and is worthy of support by blondites---

It really was a good event-- Hope they arrange another soon..

Does help to win Races though. If it is the person I think it was.

I went out 20th with QQ vs his AK - he said that he had won all of his AK races that week!!

Nice one anyway, GREAT RESULT!!

PS Do you like the bracelet?

Nice touch of the Casino there I thought (along with the others already mentioned) They gave away a Gold Bracelet to the winner. I thought this was an omen for me as I discovered on the Saturday while playing that I had lost my one?!?
lol

It was a great comp Malc and it was a pleasure to have met you. You'll have to come and play Blackpool sometime (and then you will see what real players are  ;) )

Thank You Malcolm, I am really glad you and the boys liked it, maybe someone will take notice now of our quant little club. Just spoke to Owner (WELL IMPRESSED) wants 3 festivals a year started to plan next one!! Few teething probs on 1st comp but gradually ironed them out. Although only 45 players, seemed like a really impressive field! Nice to have met some hard core blondites and thank you for all your encouragement!!

REDDOG where were you....?....

I was really sorry to miss it Dik, but I had to go to Manchester at sometime during the week, and after fretting about it all night I decided to combine a chore with a shot at qualifying for the GP

By all accounts the 'Big Game' at the Broadway was a great success even though you were competing with Blackpool, the Gutshot and Barcelona

Well done to everyone involved, especially the gorgeous valets

See you soon

Red
