Title: Fold to any bet? Post by: GlasgowBandit on November 29, 2006, 08:46:35 PM You limp in from the SB with Qh 7h Js 7s its 25c/50c
Flop comes ad 7d 6d do you now fold to a bet or do you pay a small price hoping to full up? Pre flop there where 5 limpers on a full ring table. Title: Re: Fold to any bet? Post by: doubleup on November 29, 2006, 09:08:55 PM I would tend to fold this as it is going to be a difficult hand to play with no guarantee of getting paid.
You don't give your relative position to the player representing the flush, a call would be out of the question unless you are closing the betting. If there is another caller, they might have AA, so you could be dead or have less outs if they have 66. What are the stack sizes? If the ace pairs on the turn, you bet and are called, you won't be able to bet the river with a great deal of confidence - although this wouldn't be an issue if you didn't have many chips left to bet. All in all not a great position to get involved. Title: Re: Fold to any bet? Post by: GlasgowBandit on November 29, 2006, 09:46:49 PM Avergae was around $60 I was sitting with 72 the player who bets the flop was in the cut off. As there was no action around to him he could have had it but he could also have been playing his position. I considered coming over the top to find out where I was he only bet half the pot at this stage that was $1.25 into the $2.50 I flat called but BB re-raised by which time I couldn't wait to fold.
cut-off re-re-raises and BB passes cut of shows 2 pair Aces & sixes he also had a bare diamond in his hand. I know the levels are fairly low and you get play like this but I reckon long term i will save money by passing straight away on these flops. Title: Re: Fold to any bet?
