I know they don't have any shops in Scotland or NI. but it ain't a UK tour...

Can you buy in at your local Grosvenor and if so how far in advance do you have to do so?

are they not opening one in aberdeen next year

Just read Jens article about this.............having played some of, and about to the final event of the PADDY POWER poker tour,at the Sportsman  Tonight. all I can say is .

Is the idea that you can only get to play in Grand Final if you have qualified via a high finish in one of the regional legs? Or is it open entry to the final?

The Grand Final is open to anyone. There will be live and online satellites for it as per the other legs, but the winners of legs 1-10 will also get a free seat in the grand final. The Grand Final will be a £3,000 buy in event run over 4 days with a max capacity of 400 players.

Grosvenor do not have any casinos in Scotland so its not yet possible for us to run one there, but when they do open one we will certainly be looking to make it a truly UK affair by including an event north of the border.

As far as N.I is concerned, there are no casinos there at all, Grosvenor or otherwise, as they are not legal.

The content on the tour website is not yet fully completed and there may be some ammendments and additions to the rules, blinds, etc before the first event takes place. The blinds structure is up on the site. To get to it, go to the events schedule page and it appears on a sub menu.

Why not hire somewhere like the Cincinnati club for the night?

I am sure they would be willing to accomodate.

It's not a viable option for Grosvenor.

How is the £10K added per venue to be distributed?

Is it the £5K seat in GF and £5K added to the general pool?

Looks a great tour and it'll certainly mean I'll play a bit more on BSq :)

Its actually £13,000 added to each leg. £10,000 plus a seat in the Grand Final.

All the added prize money is going to the winners of legs 1-10. What thus has enabled us to do is to have  a flatter prize structure for the rest of the payout positions while still having a decent first prize. There are those who prefer flat pay stuctures and those who prefer top heavy ones, so hopefully this should satisfy both, to some degree. I would welcome any constructive comments about the prize structure.

We have yet to decide how the £50,000 which is being added to the Grand Final will be distributed.

Players are able to wear logos, but there will be some restictions and no more than 10 people will be able to wear logos from any one company (with the exception of Blue Square/Grosvenor, of course).

Some of the events are three day events with all players starting on the same day, but others will be four day events with two first days. The three day events will have maximum capacities of up to 200 players and the four day events will be up to 400.

Would love to but I don't think the Gaming Board are keen on it. If the possibility arises I will be pushing for it.

Love it, 1 question though, only 5 levels on day 1. Seems like the expenses will rack up a bit with that extra hotel! Is this so people who work on Friday can play?

bit strong having a ten runner event go to 2 days imo

lol, i'll have you know i got £450 back for my £330, well worth the time and effort!

Then burnley roped me into a SNG for the £500, waste of time and money that was!

By my reckoning you could go out on the Friday night and come back to 7k chips on Day 2. Still I wouldn't advise this option in Luton for example.
