Title: STT Question
Post by: GlasgowBandit on December 01, 2006, 04:54:33 PM
Right folks, having read many a successful post from blondes on how best to play STT's I have been concentrating in only playing AA, KK, QQ and somtimes AKs in the first few levels of these STT's when I hit these hands I notice as soon as I put in a bet the table insta folds as I am playing so tight how do I get the best value out of these hands?

If all the others players at the table are picking up on it, you might want to find yourself some softer games.

Where abouts do you play?

Playing crazy later on, when you should be playing crazy, can help you get action early on in subsequent tournaments.

Keep betting, you get paid often enough.

I know mate, it seems to be working quite well occasionally I'll stick in a raise with nuffin and its like domino rally the way the table folds.

I'm playing on Tribecca mostly Sir Tank, which confuses me even further as the players on there generally like to get it in with any 2.

Indeedy, very soft games.

Sometimes everyone just has mince. You'll never get action every time, and you will notice a difference when you go to a tighter style.

You'll miss it coming so often, but as Wardonkey says, it will still come.

Don't lose the faith, tight is still right.

I am actually enjoying the change of style, and I have noticed that I am paying more attention to whats going on around about me and what the other players are doing.

One day I will be a tight as TightEnd 8)
