Title: Playing DVDs on your PC
Post by: thetank on December 06, 2006, 01:35:40 AM
Anyone ever had that thing when you've played DVDs on your PC before (plenty times), but suddenly it decides to stop working.

Windows Media Playa decides that it cannot play this DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection.

Grrrr, I can't watch my West Wing now. :(

Is there not some other form of DVD playing software that might play it?

My Dell Media experience tosh crashes before I get near it.

I'm going to look for summit else. I'll google "DVD playing software" and see where I get.

http://www.avsmedia.com/DVDPlayer/download.aspx

is free and working for me just now. (In case, by alarming coincidence) someone else with a similar problem happens upon this thread.

I'm not a fan of that one either.

Never heard of it, but that doesn't make the above statement untrue.
