Title: I-Pod advice please Post by: Karabiner on September 13, 2005, 02:17:42 PM Okay so I managed to put enough albums in my i-tunes library to fill up my i-pod mini and then some.
But how do I put a new album which I have onto my i-pod playlist ? Also songs which I unchecked from my library do not remove themselves from the i-pod when I connect. All help most appreciated and drinks are on me next time we meet. Siimply in one of the far left hand side columns click on an empty playlist and click on songs to populate it
If your ipod contains stuff you now wish to remove, perhaps to replace it with new stuff you need to make room for, you actually need to manually delete those you wish to remove in itunes, which contains the library of the songs you have click on the song title, file/delete (or similar) and it will ask you if you want to remove that song. Once complete, you need to make sure your ipod updates....your itunes library on your computer needs to update your ipod Title: Re: I-Pod advice please Post by: Heid on September 13, 2005, 02:25:04 PM Now I haven't used ITunes with my pod for aggges, but it sounds like you have itunes set so that it doesn't update your ipod when you plug it in and start itunes - mine is set up like that cause I don't want it to synch, but there's a section in the settings where you can set it to synch to your itunes when you plug it in (am I teaching you to suck eggs? - sorry!).
That's the only thing I can come up with? Heid xx Title: Re: I-Pod advice please Post by: Heid on September 13, 2005, 02:25:37 PM and what Mr End said :)
Title: Re: I-Pod advice please Post by: snoopy1239 on September 13, 2005, 02:32:07 PM The library is the music on your hard-drive, not your ipod.
If you remove something from the library, it means that you can't add it to the ipod. When you plug it in, move off the library list and onto the ipod list. Remove it from there. |
