Do we have to call here because of the strength or our hand. And we can't just assume he has the flush can we? If i call and lose then ill have around 400 left. Title: Re: Fold or call? Post by: SupaMonkey on December 13, 2006, 02:17:36 PM He either has a hand as good as yours or he is bluffing imo, so i would lay it down against an unknown.
Btw, the pot is 200 on the flop and there are only 3000 chips in play. Why don't you bet there? Title: Re: Fold or call? Post by: Horneris on December 13, 2006, 02:31:33 PM To disguise my hand, and in the hope that he catches a high card on the turn to pair his??, giving him 2 pair but me trips.
Title: Re: Fold or call? Post by: SupaMonkey on December 13, 2006, 02:37:46 PM Do you think he believes you if you bet out on the flop here? I wouldn't expect him to and i would expect a bluff raise a lot of the time.

For some reason people never believe you leading out with the 4. he is more likely to take you for an 8 if you lead out here. Title: Re: Fold or call? Post by: doubleup on December 13, 2006, 02:57:24 PM I would have thought he would have had a pop at the flop with a flush draw. However, calling these river raises when you've bet the turn and river is usually a loser. So I'm sighing and folding if my opponent is at all competent.
