and my kings busted by Q9s :( Starting not to like it now Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: kinboshi on December 13, 2006, 11:51:05 PM Don't worry Graham.
First hand KK v AA. I lost all-in of course. 3rd hand KK again. Q47 flop. Against AQ who spikes an Ace on the river (all-in on the turn). Nice start to DTD... Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: Royal Flush on December 14, 2006, 02:39:23 AM Why do you not 3 bet the turn?

It's Party Poker all over again 4 me lol Perhaps there's a moral in there somewhere................ Don't take chances on coinflips when your tournament life is at risk, wait until the odds are stacked in your favour. Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: Graham C on December 14, 2006, 10:06:44 AM Why do you not 3 bet the turn? Was concerned about 78 :D Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: Jon MW on December 14, 2006, 10:54:12 AM Why do you not 3 bet the turn? Was concerned about 78 :D Surely you meant to say that you had such a good read on him that you knew he had the same hand as you and knew that he wouldn't fold to betting. :D Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: Graham C on December 14, 2006, 12:26:33 PM Why do you not 3 bet the turn? I had a great read on him and knew he wouldn't fold to a bet and we'd only be playing more in rake. I obviously studied the previous hand histories that you can see when you first sit at a table so I knew exactly how he played. Surely you meant to say that you had such a good read on him that you knew he had the same hand as you and knew that he wouldn't fold to betting. :D Yes, that's what happened ;) Thanks, got me out of one there :D Title: Re: My very first D2D hand Post by: theplayer_uk on December 17, 2006, 12:10:04 PM raise flop, raise turn, raise river
