this guy on a full ring cash game hold em table has NEVER raised pre flop (based on 1500 hands) what do you think to this strategy can it really be a profitable play? Title: Re: Pre-Flop Strategy Post by: RED-DOG on December 17, 2006, 05:51:45 PM Perhaps he's just card dead?

Can't be Tighty - I think he sometimes raises with AA (in position). Title: Re: Pre-Flop Strategy Post by: Longy on December 17, 2006, 06:15:26 PM Erm pretty terrible. This player is losing tons of value from not raising with his premium hands, is going to have to play well post flop to know when these premium hand are any good against random rubbish. It also means that they will always have to make a hand to pick up dead money as they have no impetus from taking the initiative in the hand pre flop and also picking up the blinds is a much underrated thing in cash games.
