Title: Re: CinCIn schedule
Post by: Rod Paradise on September 17, 2005, 07:50:18 PM
I hope no one minds me upping this.

I unfortunately missed the £15 1 rebuy night but I was wondering if anyone knew if this would be a monthly thing or if there were plans for a similar structure.

Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers.

The 1 rebuy was very popular & will more than likely be a regular event. There will be a couple of minor tweaks as it ran too long.

There will also be other nights where different structures are used probably Mondays & Saturdays. Don't want to say too much as Rod is currently working on this but he is currently offline at weekends so hope this helps.

Cheers Teacake - I'm logged on on my old dear's computer & stupidly have left the game details at home  ::).

The ones I know are:

Thursday 8:30 start £15, single rebuy. We got 54 runners on the 8th - so we hope to keep that kind of level up. This starts Thursday 22nd.

Monday's - again 8:30 start, thinking of a £10 rebuy - with a 3 rebuy limit (similar to the Notts beginners night - Thanks Nightfly). Starting Mon 26th.

Saturdays - thinking of Student Saturday. £10 Double freezeout or £5 limited rebuys (opinions welcome - but remember this is meant to offer live game experience to the online players without being the bingo night experience currently on offer). Plan is for a 6:30 start to let players out in time for the dancing.

Personal note - apart from Thurs the 8th - I'm new to organising games - but Cincins were pleased enough with those games to offer me the 3 nights. I WILL be spamming them in a limited way on here (already asked permission), but will appreciate feedback, good or bad from people that play - or decide not to play.... The aim is to get people who wouldn't play live regularly to play - and hopefully this will lead to bigger freezeouts etc.

Cheers,

Rod

PS If I put anything up for Cincin's I'll announce that it's for them - to keep the normal nonsense I get involved in seperate  ;)
