In the past when I saw David Icke, I always thought he was a crack pot. But thinking about it, I actually think he is a bright guy.  He has made millions out of crazy talk such as the Worlds most powerful people being lizards or his belief he is the Son of God. I am sure he cannot believe this crap and he only tells people this stuff because he is aware of the potential book sales, etc he will gain by entertaining us with this stuff.  He is on a good money spinner at the end of the day.

As for his predictions for the years 1999 - 2004 concerning possible World conflicts, any respectable political scientist would have been able to predict a similar outcome had you asked them back in the late 80s.  I have a book called " A History of the Middle East" by Peter Mansfield, this book is excellent and you don't have to be a political expert to realise the Middle East is an unstable place and it was obvious there was going to be a conflict between that region and the West during these years .

Icke is either crazy or a shrewd business man in the same mould as Uri Geller is.

Love Scrubs but i haven't got a clue where to start, i reckon i've seen the first 2 series but there is such a mish mash on ABC1 and E4 i dunno.
Las Vegas is rubbish and i've seen Lost up to the American break.
Hate 24 and Prison Break but i'll check out some of the others, never heard of some of them.

He's a crackpot, i agree with some of the things he says though George Orwell was saying it first.
He just comes over as a complete whacko.

Anyway "Bound" is on E4 now, Gina Gershon and Jenifer Tilly......AAAAAYYYYYYAAAAARRR!!!!!!!!

The Rocky Marathon on Boxing Day got me giggling. (I didn't watch it, but while flicking channels, their mere presence made me chuckle)

Sky Movies are decent, but if it meant not having to sit through Hollyoaks and Eastenders (women ::) ), I'd gladly sacrifice all other telly.

On the subject of good pisch to download/buy.....

West Wing
CSI Vegas
Sopranos

The Towering Inferno, Volcanoe etc to be shown on Burns night.

An Indiana Jones festival on the vernal equinox.

Back to the Future back to back on Valentines Day. (what better way to spend quality time with the missus, restraunt takes would plummet that night)

Tomorrow night there is another Derren Brown special on.  I think it is a Live show or it may be a pre recorded one he has already performed.  I like Derren Brown and often find that he changes his act enough that he doesn't become boring.  His book is good if anyone gets the chance to read it. The memory techniques section is excellent and it contains as much info  in 60 pages as any of the specialist memory books do in 300 pages.

In defence of James (not that he needs anyone to defend him) he does come across a lot of the time as uptight on forums but it's just his writing style or banter 95% of the time, he is actually far too laid back and can be a seriously good laugh!

We all come across as different on forums than we do in real life,  I come across as insane  :D ( I am not really ).  To begin with, I thought tank was a bit unfriendly, now I think he is one of the nicest people on the blonde forum, it just shows how wrong we can get it just by reading a few posts writen by someone in the wrong way.  It is difficult to get a true feeling for someone just by their writing style.  Lets all be friends people  :).
ok ....mind you your bit sarky on here too lol

:D  That depends,  if sofa had a weapon then my money would be on sofa due to a humans natural intelligence, however a Liger has the advantage of size and natural aggression.  Sofa can argue better than a Liger though, but a Liger can roar louder than sofa can.  It may be a draw there.    Sofa may be able to beat a Liger at poker, however you also have to remember that a Liger has the eye of a tiger and as a result would be hard to bluff.  50/50

Bill Oddie is a guy that grows on you, I use to hate watching him, now I think he is really good.

D Attenborough  is the greatest nature person ever.  I don't like his brother, but DA is absolutely brilliant.

Coast is a good show, Neil Oliver is a good historian to watch, he explains things clearly for the viewer

Bill Oddie - English ( I think )

DA -  English

Niel Oliver -  He is from a fine place called Scotland.  We are the current Elephant Polo World Champions.

Is Polo similar to Hockey in terms of rules?    max of 4 in a team and one penalty taker?

That was really fast.

I have a question about Jericho.  In episode 5 does it reveal what Jake Green did during his 5 years away? .  The episode 5 I had cut out after the first few minutes and I missed that episode.  I had to start again from episode 6 onwards.  1-4 were really good,  6 was also good, but annoyingly I couldn't see episode 5.

Loved Derren Brown last night. The replay of the video was classic. I did here the 'page 14 -00 ponds' comment at the time but obviously though nothing of it... the others I just couldnt believe I didnt hear!

The tearing part of that 'trick' and her chosing the right hand to give to him were the weirdest for me, how could she be influenced to see that. The number 7 being given as the numver between one and 10 was always on but how was that piece was number 7.... argh. Brilliant but so frustrating!

I can't believe he hasnt taken over the world yet.

Family Guy
Heroes
Jericho
Las Vegas
Lost
Prison Break
Scrubs
Studio 60 (if you like the west wing you will love this, the same team + Matt Perry)
The Daily show

as well as all the old British classics. Fawlty towers, Black adder etc.

Right, done Studio 60 and Jericho (why do they do 11 episodes then have a 3 month break??)
Next is Heroes i think.

Heroes is my favourite show of 2006, IMO it's far better than Jericho. I'd also love to know why the hell they do this silly break mid season. No sooner do you get completely hooked on the show, they go and pull them all for ages, Grrrrr

LOL I've spent so much time trying to download heros episode 12 and it only has gone up to 11. Durr. I thought I couldn't play it cos it was a rar file, I've been trying to extract it thro win rar and kicking the computer when it hasn't worked!

Heroes remindes me a lot of Dead Zone if anyone used to watch that.
