Seems like a nice lad, I hope he has the glittering career he deserves, and the press doesn't "expectation" him to death. Title: Re: good book,,,,Amir Khan Post by: Graham C on December 30, 2006, 08:59:53 AM Every man and his dog seems to be bringing books out at the moment. What happened to the days when someone at the end of his (or her) career would bring out their memoirs. They seems to be bringing them out before they've even started these days.
I was in Ottakers the other day and noticed that Chantelle from 'celeb' Big Brother has a book out of her life story too, I bet that's a good read ::) Title: Re: good book,,,,Amir Khan Post by: Sark79 on December 30, 2006, 10:52:58 AM I got the Derren Brown book the other day, but it could have easily been the Chantelle book I selected instead. In the end, I thought it would be better to learn how to read peoples minds rather than put on make up. There are probably plenty of make up sites online where the information is free :D
I like Amir Khan, he seems like a nice bloke. I remember a few years ago, I bought the Denise Lewis biography after her Olympic success. She had always impressed me with her sporting attitude and good looks, lol. Sadly, the book was boring and no amount of Denise pictures could save the book from it's eventual fate of the PDSA box in the corner of the room. I think Khan could have waited a few years before bringing out a book. |
