I had been re-raised twice and was leaking chips, i found a strongish hand and decided to make to 4BB to try and just take the blinds, we hadn't played any pots against each other but i saw on the last 2 tables he was quite active. Title: Re: 2 hands from the stars $25k Post by: Dubai on January 04, 2007, 05:29:09 AM 1st hand easy isolation.
2nd hand raise less pre, still call shove. Title: Re: 2 hands from the stars $25k Post by: Rookie (Rodney) on January 04, 2007, 07:09:18 AM 1st one i call
2nd one i make it 3bb instead of 4 and fold to his shove anyway. Second one I'd probably call if I had been leaking chips..but I wouldn't be surprised to see pocket tens or something better. Hoping for AK or something and being fed up with being re-raised all the time would probably lead me to calling. Title: Re: 2 hands from the stars $25k Post by: kinboshi on January 04, 2007, 11:59:49 AM I think I'd be folding to both.
Title: Re: 2 hands from the stars $25k Post by: Highstack on January 04, 2007, 12:18:12 PM H1 Jam - you don't want anyone else in the pot. Shortie was looking for first unraised pot to get em in ... you are in front here and looking at the amount of chips on the other table, you need to accumulate some.
H2 Pass - you might be in front but its marginal and the price is just oo much to find out if you are best. You tried and failed to pick up the blinds, I would now let it go. He could well have you on the steal and this be a resteal attempt, but you have plenty of chips back to finder a better opportunity. |
