What i was wantin to no is do they make the blogger money but the more hits they get or adverstising sites with links? Any1 make it clearer cheers! Google makes money each time these ads are clicked on, and the blogger gets a small cut of this.
Some sites make A LOT from adsense: http://www.johnchow.com/index.php/the-internets-biggest-google-whores/ There's also money to be made through affiliate links, such as Amazon. You put a link to something on Amazon, say for example a book or DVD, and Amazon pays you a small amount each time the click-through results in a purchase. It's my public diary and a place where I can put my views down in one location, instead of having to search through loads of forums to find something I wrote ages ago. That's why I write one. Other people have different motives though.
Title: Re: BLOGS Post by: Splash on January 09, 2007, 10:30:33 PM A few months ago... some US poker firm offered me $$$ to put an ad on my WonkyJim blog (http://wonkyjim.blogspot.com/) as they'd seen it getting some traffic, we negotiated and agreed a decent price then 2 days later the US bill got signed and they withdrew! Bugger! ;grr;
