Brilliant ITN journalism there - spent more time showing clips of the Bond film than actually providing any relevant information.

Yes, the missus said she didn't realise poker was quite so energetic!

Typical shit from the TV news teams .... it would be nice if they actually interviewed someone instead of just talking about poker in a condescending patronising way.

If anyone gets asked to go on this kind of TV/Radio show, it's better to have a headache and politely decline.  One is never simply asked for one's opinion on poker anyway - I have found myself in a position as an apologist for online gambling rather than what I thought I'd be talking about; it's hard when you have to follow a spokesperson from Gamcare, or the 30 seconds where you get to succinctly defend the game comes after a profile of a guy who lost his life's savings on fruit machines.

I imagine it would be nice to have a considered say from someone who knows what they're talking about, but it rarely happens in the mainstream media.

Does anyone think a 15/20 minute balanced presentation on the facts of gambling to youth groups like girl guides or boys brigade, aswell as schools could help stem the tide of teenagers doing their bollocks on roulette terminals.

If all they get in the media is this sort of unbalanced tosch, no wonder they flock to the fruitees
