Failing that, get Nouvelle Vague - "Bande A Part" or the "1er Album". Glad you liked it mate Title: Re: needing inspiration Post by: Eck on January 12, 2007, 04:44:51 PM Good reminder Jim, had a wee listen to 3 doors down last night and quite enjoyed it. Although I'm getting a bit more mellow in my old age.
So Friday night i get to play into the wee hours as no work tomorrow ;yippee;. So i'd appreciate some suggestions also as i'm getting a bit fed up listening to cowboy junkies, 10,000 maniacs & Arcade Fire for the last couple of weeks (so should give anyone an idea of my taste) So what can I listen to tonight? Go on go on go on go on go on go on. Title: Re: needing inspiration Post by: Canuck on January 12, 2007, 04:45:14 PM Dave Matthews Band - Crash (one of the best albums ever made, and it amazes me he is not that popular over here in the UK, he is absolutely massive in North America, plus if you like it, he is coming to the SECC in February)
and another is a not well known Canadian band but have a cult like following in Canada The Tragically Hip - The album is called 'Up To Here' (That is an incredible album, I am sure you would love it) Title: Re: needing inspiration Post by: Eck on January 12, 2007, 04:50:12 PM Dave Matthews Band - Crash (one of the best albums ever made, and it amazes me he is not that popular over here in the UK, he is absolutely massive in North America, plus if you like it, he is coming to the SECC in February) and another is a not well known Canadian band but have a cult like following in Canada The Tragically Hip - The album is called 'Up To Here' (That is an incredible album, I am sure you would love it) Cheers mate Will give them a blast later.
