Haven't seen it, but everything he does is class.

Will have to watch it later.

I'm quite surprised Henry hasn't been recognised in Player of Europe/World awards.  He's been so consistant over the years.

Great goal. In twenty years time I'll be saying "Ronaldinho was a great player, Ronaldo was a decent player, so was Zidane. My Grandad use to talk about George Best, and Maradona was even better than the rest, but Thiery Henry was the greatest player of all time"

:D

He'll be up there, but when people talk about the best they always seem to miss out those fellas who are so good at putting the ball in the back of the net every week.

Great ball from Fabregas too enabling Henry to hit it first time without even breaking stride.

They tell me one of the teams had only ten men, can't say that I noticed  ::)

Not that special, his miss from 3 yards was better.

Kev come on, even the bitterest Colchester Spurs fan has got to admit that Henry is brilliant.

I have said many times on this forum that he is the best foreign player ever to play in the premiership ..that isnt in doubt.

Just dont think the goal was that special, take a look at last months goal of the month comp, all were better than Henrys effort (which only looked good because the keeper got a hand on it and pushed it into the top corner)

Besides he is a goon, he is french and he is an arrogant tosser :D

It was class.  From within his own half, a goal only he and a few others could even think about creating and scoring.

He's earnt the right to be arrogant.  But fair enough on the point that he's French...

was a great goal - but was more down to the fact that Blackburn just stood off so its not like we can say he ran the length of the pitch and beat 6 players coz he didnt.  Rather than the run which was good and the first time shot which we see week in week out i admired most the two passes which managed to dissect 6-7 Blackburn players.

Quality goal but probably not in this season's top 3 for me.  Matt Taylors is no 1 for me and i even think Van Persie's v Charlton away was better - superb technique.

Going on to another question about how has he not been European Player of the Year i myself am surprised tho i think funnily enough if he had got it this year and everyone thinks he should have over Canavaro i think this would be his least deserving year.  His problem is he got to the 2 be biggest finals in the World - the Champions League and The World Cup and i had the privilege of being at both matches and he didnt have good games in either.

That's his biggest downfall - week in week out he turns it on but then in the very biggest matches when 1bn plus people are watching, he doesnt have his best games.

Best player however to have graced the premiership.

Actually in the World Cup Final, i was expecting to see in Zidane a past it great player.  I have got to say that up to his moment of stupidness, i was in awe of him watching him there in front of me.  I do not think he ever quite got the recognition he deserved.  Obviously Pele and Maradona are the best over the last 30-40 years and no one can argue about that, but i wish i had now seen more of Zidane because he probably wasnt that far behind.

1: Van Persie vs Charlton

2: Anelka vs Arse

3: Matt Taylor

I think that has confirmed for me that he is left footed - though if you watch him play it is difficult to tell if he favurs either. took a penatly at home and scored with his right, took one away with his left and missed!
