Out the two of them Iam pleased Wolfie won,but he needs to have a word with his missus,signing autographs and dancing about when he was 6-0 up then leaving the arena when it looked like he was gonna bottle it again!!!!

No offense but that is absolute rubbish, the BDO has always been "the" world title to win.
The averages compare not only this year but every year (they are published if you wanna google them) with the PDC, the difference between the 2 bodies is organisation NOT talent.
Taylor has always been head and shoulders above the rest but the rest are all pretty much the same, this "BDO is worse" crap has gone on since the start of the PDC and it is all myth, believe me i know.

I cant believe I missed a match as good as that and a 147 in the same day.

I have to disagree here , i dont think its a myth at all the quality of the PDC is far superior , last years BDO for example klaasen beat barney in the final with a meagre avg of 89, barney i believe averaged 94 , i put barneys defeat down to complaceny and him been stale surrounded in such mediocrity .... and i think its very noticeable that he has upped his game considerably in the last year since he jumped ship.This is purely down to HAVING to raise his game as he has been promoted from the vauxhall conference straight up to the premiership

Whatever the merits are about the quality of the BDO it was an exciting final :)

What many people fail to understand is that the arguments regarding which side is better are actually good for both codes as it keeps the interest levels higher. To be honest I don't care which is better or worse I just enjoy watching the sport.

Taylor and Barney are head and shoulders above the rest.  Behind them its much of a muchness between the top PDC and top BDO players although the defection of the 3 Dutchmen to the PDC today is a big blow to the BDO.

There was Teacake but the 4 players that made the semi-final had to sign a contract guaranteeing that they play at the Lakeside next year, so King is stuck with the BDO for now .

Yeah Olly Croft is a very bitter man, the real irony is that the BDO changed their rules to allow Van Gerwen to enter the Lakeside comp (he is underage) and he buggers off :D
