Title: tech question re: internet explorer Post by: amcgrath1uk on January 15, 2007, 10:28:12 PM Hi all
Am having a problem with my internet explorer. With more frequency it says the buffer is overrun and causes me to have to shut down everything ( luckily except the poker) Does anyone have any ideas how to combat this? Thanks Title: Re: tech question re: internet explorer Post by: Bongo on January 15, 2007, 10:31:31 PM Don't use it ;whistle;
What is the exact error message? What version of IE and what version of windows? Title: Re: tech question re: internet explorer Post by: happybhoy on January 15, 2007, 10:35:05 PM Install Firefox
Title: Re: tech question re: internet explorer Post by: amcgrath1uk on January 15, 2007, 10:37:29 PM Oh yeah... I'm on Windows XP home and IE7.. Firefox is something I will be doing when I have a bit of spare time..
The problem is it won't let me copy/paste anything and auto-shuts down so don't generally see what it says.. apart from it has detected a buffer overrun in Internet explorer Title: Re: tech question re: internet explorer Post by: FlyingPig on January 15, 2007, 10:48:01 PM Why Firefox? What are the benefits? Is there a major difference?
