Since posting this I have found out my exwifes best friend has had a car crash in greece and has broken her neck. She may need to go out there so my limited bankroll will be going to help and my time will be taken taking care of jakob. Dont know anymore yet but if I don't arrive you will know why.

Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: ariston on September 20, 2005, 10:19:36 PM Cheers all, although I have been divorced for 2 years I was married for 8 and knew the person very well. I have no obligation to the exwife apart from my son but at times like this I thinks its best to do what you can. Next time you feel sorry for yourself because your aces have been cracked or you have destroyed your roll you should realise how lucky you are and think of the positives in life. Poker sometimes seems like life and death but as I have been reminded a few times in the last few months its only a game.
Karen is lucky to be alive I suppose after being hit in a head on crash by an English driver driving on the wrong side of the road....just how daft can some people be ffs. Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: redsimon on September 23, 2005, 09:38:47 AM Hope everything turns out OK Ariston.
Will be at Walsall all weekend (Friday tea time onwards). Possibly 6 tournies for me if I crash and burn in the £300...looking forward to seeing a few Blondites there :D Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: ACE2M on September 23, 2005, 12:55:50 PM What does the saturday afternoon sat involve?
buyin, rebuys, etc etc any info greatly appreciated. Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: Robert HM on September 23, 2005, 01:03:16 PM How is the situation in Greece Ariston?
Your post gave me pause for thought. I am nearly divorced, after a long seperation, but when all is said our previous partners are, after all, the mother of our children. Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: ACE2M on September 23, 2005, 01:04:24 PM I have just found out that there is a £5 super sat tonight as well.
A couple of friends were going ot play the £5 chip throwing comp but don't fancy this super sat but i might get them to play anyway if it's any good. How many seats will it generate? Anyone played in one before? Need a lot of players and rebuys to generate more than 2 seats. Title: Re: Walsall on saturday Post by: ariston on September 23, 2005, 01:06:35 PM 6 specialists went out wednesday and they flew her back by air ambulance yesterday i believe, At least the operations will be happening in this country now (health srevice in Greece is almost 3rd would quality so I've been told). I will not be at Walsall tomorrow but I hope you all do well and may Blondites crush the field.

Anyone played in one before? Need a lot of players and rebuys to generate more than 2 seats. Usually generates 6 or 7 seats from around 90-100 runners, a total crapshoot but good fun. Saturday afternoon is £10 rebuy (1 hour) and a 20 minute clock after the rebuys |
