Title: APAT membership
Post by: Padrino on January 19, 2007, 10:35:52 AM
I joined the APA on 15/1/07 and had confirmation of payment. However i have not recieved any details about the membership such as membership number etc. I have emailed them but no reply to date.

Any advice welcome as i wish to play the sats and register for Welsh APAT but obviously cannot do so without a membership number.

Did you get the email from them today?  If so, you're on the list.

You don't get a 'membership number' as such - you're tracked there by email address AFAIK.  As long as you've got the confirmation of payment then I think you're OK.

Your email address is sufficient, no membership numbers issued

Newsletter issued to members last night had password for tomorrow night's online series event. Same password for the Welsh event satellites

if you got a confirmation number that is sufficient.

I am sure Des will catch up with any backlog at the end of his working week

We avoid backlogs whereever possible and every member had been communicated with as of close of play last night.  I checked through those joining on the 15th Padrino and couldn't see any London addresses, so if you send me in your details via customer@apat.com, I will ensure we sort your query out in advance of the tournaments over the weekend.

Cheers,

Des.

Our latest newsletter  - a very full one - went out yesterday, have you checked your e-Mails today?

If it has not arrived, please drop a note to either "customer@apat.com" or "tony@apat.com" & we'll sort it out.

Keeping very well thanks Gareth.

It is inevitable when mailing groups that a percentage get turned away as spam.  In some cases they end up in a junk folder and can be retrieved, and in some cases they do not arrive at all.  The only thing I can recommend is adding www.apat.com as a secure provider in your email settings, or alternatively dropping an email to your service provider asking them to allow www.apat.com emails through.

Good luck with getting a seat - I know you want this one badly!

Cheers,

Des.
